EMPOWERING FEMALE CRICKETERS

Shaun Martyn has been at the forefront of revolutionising the landscape of women’s cricket for two decades.

He founded FairBreak, the Australian sporting movement dedicated to creating career pathways for female cricketers worldwide.

He built and led a global management team, and in 2022 and 2023 respectively, delivered two ICC-sanctioned 10-day T20 cricket tournaments in Dubai and Hong Kong, showcasing the talents of 90 of the world’s leading women cricketers. The tournaments were broadcast to 140 nations around the world.

WELLBEING AND SUSTAINABILITY

Shaun Martyn is deeply committed to the physical health and wellbeing of female athletes. His advocacy has extended to the design of their kit, and he has facilitated groundbreaking research into breast protection for female cricketers, ensuring their safety and comfort while playing the game they love.

Sustainability is another cornerstone of Shaun’s ethos. He has actively worked towards reducing the environmental impact of major sporting events through innovative initiatives like repurposing stadium branding.

Beyond the boundaries of sport, Shaun Martyn is a staunch advocate for corporate social responsibility and addressing global issues such as energy poverty.

Through strategic partnerships with the renewable energy sector, Shaun has provided solar-powered lighting to impoverished communities in India and Africa as well as those affected by devastating events like the Australian bushfires.
